Snapshot
- Client: Founder of a small online skincare and beauty brand
- Market: Online store, selling to customers across several countries
- Services: Technical SEO, content strategy, product page optimization, Google Business Profile and social media setup
- Timeline: 6 months
The Challenge
She started the brand from her kitchen table with products she believed in. The products were great, but almost nobody could find them. The store depended on a few social posts and word of mouth, and organic search brought in only a trickle of visitors each month.
Her site also had problems she couldn’t see herself: slow product pages, duplicate descriptions copied from suppliers, no blog, and category pages that didn’t match anything people actually search for. She had tried paid ads once, spent her budget in two weeks, and stopped, so she needed growth that kept working after the spending stopped.
What We Did
1. Fixed the foundation
We cleaned up the technical issues: page speed, mobile layout, broken links, duplicate pages and missing page titles. Her site became easy for both customers and Google to use.
2. Matched pages to real searches
We researched what her customers type into Google before they buy, such as skin concerns, ingredient questions and routine ideas. Each product and category page was rewritten around those searches, in her own warm voice instead of generic supplier text.
3. Built helpful content
We launched a small blog answering the questions her customers kept asking. Each article linked to the relevant products, so readers who found her through advice could go straight to buying.
4. Made her brand easy to trust
We set up her business profiles, added review and product markup so her listings looked complete in search, and made her About page tell her real story. Customers could see there was a real person behind the brand.
The Results
- +210% organic traffic in 6 months
- 3x monthly orders coming from search
- 18 keywords on the first page of Google, up from 2
- +64% average time spent on product pages
- 4.8 out of 5 average customer rating after we added a review request after each order
By month five, search became her biggest source of new customers. She stopped relying on a single viral post and could finally plan her stock, her launches and her hiring with confidence.
In Her Words
“I used to refresh my sales page and hope. Now I wake up to orders from people who found me on their own. It feels like the brand finally has a place on the internet.”
